“We had to put our sweet girl Danica down after she lost her battle to liver cancer. I know the LVT and other support staff thought that they were doing what was right by immediately injecting Danica with meds to make her comfortable, however, that is my choice to make. Our sweet girl was taken outta my wife's arms, taken behind doors where we couldn't go and then we had to wait about 20mins later to see her. We would have preferred to have been with our girl the whole entire time in her last moments. It was a heartbreaking experience for us, but all of the staff did everything they could to make sure it didn't get any worse and we appreciate that.”
