We're down here camping in one of the 6 sites available although they just have water and electric connectivity. The sites are gravel and pretty flat although just as a warning if it's been raining much it's real marshy in the grass areas. Overall I'll say it's pretty nice, also a hidden benefit is this base has some parks and recreation areas that can be used while you're camping here. Not necessarily the best for young children but kids in grade school and up would not be totally bored. One enormous surprise was a fact that this base also raises and rescues elk for eventual repopulation in areas where they're scarce.
We used the RV park. I can only base it on that.
The RV park has 6 pads with electric/water hook ups. There is a dump station but no other facilities. Even the base has nothing.
The RV park area is nice. It has two fire rings and some benches and picnic tables.
It was fairly quiet except the occasional passing train but it wasn't bad.
