“This school has an excellent staff that works well with children with special needs i.e autism. They are a great school that focuses on building social skills.”

“This school is fine. All the negative reviews are teens that feel they are entitled to have their every need met by every teacher. The same students that feel like the staff was unhelpful are probably the same students who crowd the hallways themselves, won't shut up when told to quiet down, and talk back to staff when they're asked to put their headphones away. The AC is fine as of writing, and both campuses are even said to be chilly by some, and this is easily handled because of the relaxed dress code that allows long sleeves and even personal sweaters. I transferred here just this year and my grades are as good as they've ever been. The teachers, or at least all the teachers I have, are helpful, supportive, nice, and are generally good at holding the attention of the class.”

“Visited on a random Sunday. The worship was nice and the message although not espectacular was still inspiring. What I was most keen on was on the lack of interest shown in me as a visitor. I was there for almost two hours and was only greeted by the deacon at the door and then by an old lady at the end. Such little commitment to getting to know people that are first time visitors to church should be a wake-up call to any church. Can't say I recommend it as a church to belong, although it's not for a visit”

“We have two children (4yrs & 9 mos) that started at ACP off of Luck's Lane about 4 months ago when we moved to the area. The transition to a new preschool was very easy for my 4 year old, which a large concern of mine when we moved. When asked what do you love about school, his answer is "everything!" When I first went on the tour, I got the feeling that this was the right place for us. The center is operated by a family and it just has a family feel to it; very warm and welcoming and management takes a lot of pride in the school, as they should The staff are all wonderful. I have been very impressed with the education that my son is receiving in the preschool. His writing and letter recognition in 4 months has greatly improved. We love the gym and that they let the kids "cook" on Fridays. Both children are thriving and we are very happy!”

“Had a great experience - got in right on time. Nice staff and doctor. I just don’t like the $79.95 advertising- it’s misleading since it only covers basically plastic lenses with no special concerns. But that’s not the fault of the office staff but the company itself.”

“We already see the improvement. our son's teacher is doing a fantastic job. Our son Daniel has been excited about playing the drums for some time but this teacher has lit a fire in him that's bigger than just playing.”

“Pros: Good to Very Good Course Conditions mid-September. Great design and 30 years of maturation. Nice Practice Area. Longest par 3's in Richmond. (From the tips) Lyberty at the front desk is friendly & wonderful! (The dude she works with not so much.) Cons: Cart paths are tree root nightmares after 30 years. Driving Range grasses are bare/weedy on the center stalls. 14th green needs a re-sod. Overall: Fix the Cons and more good players will come here over Magnolia and Viniterra.”

“Dorian + Bethany played for both the ceremony and reception of our wedding in September 2014. My husband and I had spent a lot of time hunting for the right musicians for our celebration and were so excited when we came across Dorian + Bethany. They were exactly what we were looking for in that they could provide wonderful live music with their singing and guitar playing but could also mix it up by DJ’ing when needed. They took our perhaps somewhat unusual ceremony music requests and ran with it in the best sort of way. We received so many compliments from our guests about the music at our wedding; they really helped us to create the atmosphere we were hoping for. We have nothing but positive things to say about Dorian + Bethany and would be happy to recommend them to any one looking for fun, reliable musicians!”

“My son attended REDS preschool and really enjoyed both the three day and four day programs there. BJ Wallace is the director, and she is very friendly and flexible. Meg is her right hand woman, and is always there with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. His teachers, Robin and Ann, in the three day program, and Sallie and Ginny, in the 4 day programs, were fabulous. He grew so much while he was there and really enjoyed the many different experiences they created for him. REDS allowed our son in the program not only based on his age, but also on his ability, which is something few other schools offered us. REDS is a small, intimate setting, with the smallest student to teacher ratio of any of the other local preschools, which was key for us and one of the main reasons we were drawn there initially. It's a play-based program, but Ginny and Sallie worked hard at also making sure the children were well-prepared to enter kindergarten with the necessary fine motor skills and letter recognition. The teachers (and not just those in his class) all knew my son by name, and after being there for a while, we really felt like family. We had a family emergency one day which threw our schedule off, and everyone at REDS really stepped up to the plate and helped us navigate a solution such that our son didn't even know there was anything amiss. It was obvious to me that everyone here really cares deeply about the children in the program, and their success. There is nothing like knowing your child is safe and secure and loved when you drop him or her off, and nothing greater than to see him or her enter school with a smiling face. We feel very lucky to have found REDS and would highly recommend it.”

“Wonderful facility. Super clean and organized. Great staff. Truly a hidden gem for parents looking to get their kids swimming lessons off season or in a safe space without distractions of a summer pool. Instructors are laid back but focused. Cost is very very competitive. Flexibility is great. My family will be going here for a long time.”
