Mount Vernon District Park

They have a wonderful mountain biking trails and hiking trails. And it is a short but fun ride.

Not the biggest course, but a decent cross country ride. Some punchy climbs that will have you huffing. The real jewel of the park is the jump line, with a nice drop in jump (or some drops), nice berms and and a short wall ride, and ending with a little elevated skinny. Full circuit takes maybe 30 seconds and then a 90 second climb to get back to the top and start another lap!

Great place to work on your skills and iterate, build up confidence for larger parks.

Great bike circuit. Also for a walk in the snow.

Hour long hike in a cool shady wooded area. Put a public restroom out front and a water fountain and 5/5.

Great easy trails with variable terrain. My favorite neighborhood oasis for when I need a taste of nature but don't want to battle traffic. You can get 2-3 miles without too much repetition.
