Chennai Express Restaurant

This place is a hole in the wall with no frills. But the food is 👌👌 super delicious & authentic. Our neighbor had recommended we try this place & we’ve no regrets. We tried the chicken briyani & chicken chettinad with prontha. Everything was very very flavorful & delicious. (I’d only wish they served the hot food in non plastic containers).
We’re definitely going back to try their other specialties.

Stopped here on our way back home from the airport…Place looks a bit iffy but we decided to eat as the place was so crowded… I’m glad we ate here coz the food was delicious. We had masala dosa, medu vada, chicken lollipop and chicken biryani. Chicken biryani was authentic and medu vada was super light and crispy. You will find a lot of dry snacks for sale as well.

The food is really good. This was my first time here. Good South Indian food must try. Fried podi idly is a must try..

The best goat biryani. Nicely made, home style. Small dine in area. Indian home snacks are available to buy with some stuff to buy like authentic sesame oil. Restroom and the dine in area is okay, might need rearrangement. Host is good.
