I absolutely love this school. I completed 4 years of high school here and from my first step inside I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. The teachers and students are nice, helpful and caring. Now I attend Virginia Tech, But I will always remember those good times back in high school and I can definitely say that I'm still a hornet at heart.
May be better than the scol of nepal our school SunRise English School.
One of the things I really appreciated about this school was the Music and Arts program. I was able to be involved in each and I can honestly say that both were amazing. The choir director really knows what she's doing and most of the shows they put on were awesome. The guitar teacher was amazing and really down to earth with most of the students. I didn't do band, but friends of mine enjoyed it immensely. Theatre was where I was in a lot of the time and I had a lot of fun there. Overall it's a good school with some bad parts. But if you're just trying to do your best, you will have a lot of help.
yes are football team sucks but whatever i love this school i have gone to it for the past 2 years and love it Herndon high school is an OK school
I have attended Herndon High School for four years, and will be graduating next week. My experience with the school has been positive, for the most part. The teachers whom I have had have all been engaged and enthusiastic about the subject matter they teach, with one or two exceptions. The diversity of the school is amazing, in my opinion. The student body is not nearly as homogeneous as many surrounding schools, and this has contributed (in my sense, at least) to better understanding between students of different backgrounds. There are, never the less, a token number of ignorant assholes who insist on maintaining an insular existence within the confines of their peers (this applies to ALL races). The facilities are good overall, though the school structure (literally, the brick and mortar) is a bit shaky. The commitment to the arts is strong at the school; we have great band, orchestra, guitar, theater, and visual arts programs. Our athletics aren't very good at all, really. Many of the science teachers are not very good. I was lucky enough to get some of the better ones. The math faculty is great, though, again, there are a few bad apples. Overall, a good school.
