“I first met Dr Afifi 10 years ago when I had my left knee replaced. He did a great job! When I needed to have my right knee replaced in Feb 2020, I knew I wanted to return to Dr Afifi. He is very knowledgeable and personable and I now consider him a friend! I would highly recommend him for any type of physical therapy and have recommended him to family and friends.”

“Dr. Afifi and his staff were a pleasure to work with on every visit. I had chronic neck/shoulder pain for several months, and after a few weeks of therapy, I was amazed at how quickly things improved.”

“My 12 yo is high functioning autistic but really gets inflexible after a few weeks of working with someone. Allie has been phenomenal! My daughter doesn’t even know she is working and yet she is doing things she would never have done on her own in a million years no matter how hard we all worked with her in the past. I have found the staff and whole team at Fleming to be very professional and innovative.”

“Great experience overall from front office staff to the physical therapists and treatment plan. The MedbridgeGoApp is a handy tool that allows them to share their prescribed interventions for home uuse. Although not everything they do can be done on your own. Scheduling is not too bad if you get on their books at least a month in advance. They have a variety of therapists that work within various treatment modalities including myofascial release, dry needling, etc. If you keep up with your treatment plan in addition to your own work out regiment, you will see results. Communication about your daily routine and paying attention to your body makes the experience much more rewarding as they PT's are engaging, considerate, professional and personable. I enjoy all the personalities at the Alexandria clinic. I've been there 2x a week for frozen shoulder after a clavicle break and another time for a car accident. The car accident required a Ortho referral but they are good about letting you know ow in advance about your progress notes and if/when you need a referral. Get on their schedule at least a month ahead and you'll be able to pick and choose the therapist that works well with your needs. The variety of treatment modalities include traditional PT work (sorry for my lack of technical knowledge), dry needling (I haven't tried it but they have it) & myofascial release (super helpful). I've worked with Michelle, Brauna, Jean, Erica and a few others that have moved on. 5+ stars for ALL of them. Some of their equipment is priced slightly higher than Amazon so decide on what's best for you. I needed a second pully right away and it was only a few extra dollars to be able to walk out of the office with an extra set and no delivery wait time. Other things like Thermarest Pads were better ordered on Amazon.”
