“I came here as a child so did my sister and now my little brother! My brother has learned so many things from when he started going to this school, like the improvement of grammar, drawing skills, and also made a bunch of new things! I enjoyed learning in this school, and I hope you do as well!”

“Rubina and all of her assistants are so wonderful; we feel lucky to have found her after having a negative experience with our first in-home daycare provider. We are looking forward to using her services again with our second child!”

“I just love this school. Between both my kids, we've been to three other schools in this neighborhood. I've liked them all for different reasons but Tauxemont is special. I also like that we get priority access to Nature Camp in the summer and I love the school auction in the spring. Even when my kids out grow this school, it'll always be our school.”

“We're approaching our 7th year at Aquinas and still couldn't be happier. The growth of our children's education is astounding. Through primary, graduating lower elementary and now joining upper elementary. The staff and educators are like family and there is no one else I'd want educating and influencing our children. Every teacher, assistant and guide bring so much. Our kids love PE, performing in the play, the language programs, and how proud they are of themselves when completing detailed reports on big topics (in cursive!)! What's priceless, our kids look forward to going to school everyday, and sad to leave. Love our little school house. 2016 I can't say enough good things about this little school house which has become part of our family. Everyday I'm reminded how amazing Aquinas is. Our children are happy and flourishing.”

“I graduated in 1979, I assure all of you, back then, the staff were very professional, never any trouble except every now and then some students were caught smoking pot, suspended and almost didn't graduate. The students cared about each other and the reputation of our school. The only thing that ever happened to me, I was a freshman on the first day of school, a senior sent me to the other side of the school to find my class which was back close to where I was to start with, no big deal, just late. That was the only thing most got in trouble for, late to class. Everyone there make the school what it is, including the parents. If you don't like a dirty bathroom, change it, if someone is rude they should be reprimand not just allowed to disrespect others. Grow up and take responsibility. Your school experience and after you graduate into the real world, it will not be "all about you"”

“I had my infant enrolled here and would recommend this preschool to anyone looking. The infant staff was caring and efficient. They always were quick to address my concerns, if I had any. The parents, kids, and staff all had a more family centric relationship that you do not find at large day care centers. My son very much came out of his shell while he was here. I would recommend this center to anyone looking in the area of Ft Belvoir.”

“I have just left Washington Mill ES due to the fact that I just graduated (2018) but I can say that when I moved here and started at this school in 4th grade I always felt at home and accepted; I will forever miss the teachers (Mr.Smith we love you, Ms'Hawkins a dedicated teacher and goofball at heart, And many more Office ppl, art, gym) and I'll miss the building in general, so many memories. On the last day of school at the end of the day all you could hear were the sounds of over 90 kids crying but we did the same ting the day before when Mr. Smith one of the music teachers gave all of the rising 6th graders a speech that touched all of our hearts. To everyone I will miss you and to all of you out there (I'm sorry for the long comment) but I highly recommend this school, I 99.99% promise that your child or (children) are in safe and loving hands, if you don't trust me on that well just keep in mind that I was in Band, Chorus, A.A.P (advanced academics program, one of the captains of the safety patrol program they have, A.C.C (all county chorus)(look it up), and just a loving student -Liv (I'll never forget you guys) (don't forget me!)”

“My 2 year old attended Landstowne Center II (Rhiannon & Esmeralda as Director & Assistant Director) and had a great experience with attentive teachers and professional staff. She grew up instantaneously both academically and socially. I am very satisfied with this center and would highly recommend Northern Virginia Academy to any parent as an excellent institution.”

“The 2s class at this school was my child's first school/care experience outside of our home, and I couldn't imagine a better place for her to go. The teacher made her feel comfortable and excited, which eased my own anxieties. As the year went by, she learned so much and was encouraged to be herself. You can tell that the staff here truly care for your child. It's a perfect environment for their first school experiences.”
