“Love the location near my home. Not a huge selection. However, I really like the milk, breads, chocolate and ice cream. Big plus is that they are open year round. Nice to be able to get my items in the winter time. Also, low fat fresh meats selection is very good too. I enjoy shopping the there.”

“I have taken a variety of classes at Wheelhouse by different instructors and they have all been fun and a good mind and body workout. The studio is located on the second floor with mood-boosting natural light and minimalist design. It's an inviting space to recharge yourself! Alyson, the owner, is genuinely personable and knowledgeable. They inform you about what services, workshops, and retreats they have available, but in a very casual non-pushy way. I love that because it doesn't contradict the chill vibe of the practice of yoga. They offer towels, blocks, and other accessories at no charge. There is no locker room, but it's not a big deal because providing a range of classes you can enjoy led by good instructors is more important than "extras".”

“Fields 1, 2 and the batting cages only have one porta potty nearby. The fields and lights were great despite having just had a ton of rain the night before.”

“This is simply a great place to go to get food if you live anywhere near Old Town Clifton. Their burgers are great. Their breakfast is awesome on a Sunday morning. And what's better than sitting down on their patio and enjoying a quiet morning in Clifton...not much! You might want to get a beer with your croissant sandwich...I always do. And nobody is nicer in Clifton than their waiter Kevin and waitress Amy...I promise they'll take care of you...cheers!”

“Been playing golf for maybe 15 years, and never took a lesson. I’ve always had a flat swing and was honestly worried to take a lesson thinking my instructor would try to “re-invent” my swing. After a friend took lessons from Jon, it completely changed his game. I figured it was as good a time as any to finally take a lesson. Happy to report I have a new found love for the sport. I have always been a relatively high handicap (17), but I have never felt as dialed in as I do right now. I just completed my 3rd lesson and it’s pretty incredible to see the changes. While a work in progress, my swing is light years ahead of where it was just a couple months ago. Just played my first round after a few lessons and I’m thrilled to be striking it like I am. More than a full club length better in distance, and my accuracy is far improved. I certainly have my friend to thank, but I can’t recommend Jon enough. He’s a patient instructor, and does a great job conveying his message. Thank you, Jon!”

“I love coming here every time I come to northern VA. It is a locally owned restaurant with so much passion and love put into the service and the food. This is a culinary experience you will always remember with some of the best foods I have ever tried. If you love to try innovative and exquisite food, you don’t want to miss coming to Trummer’s.”

“A railroad track runs through this park and it runs along the Occoquan River. Great place to take your dog. The trail is hilly in places. Very few people on the trail. Limited parking on the Yates side. There is an adventure camp for kids here. On most weekdays there will be groups of 5th graders at various points in the adventure camp. But the kids dont go into the trail to my knowledge. So dont be concerned about being disturbed on your run/walk/jog. There is a spot you can launch boats from. There are also horse trails. There is winery just outside the park entrance on the Yates side.”

“I've been hiking here for decades, even did a few Eagle Scout projects here. I love the area. The management has changed, but I haven't noticed much of a difference in access to the trails. It's a great place in all seasons and weather.”

“Our kids absolutely LOVED their field trip to Hemlock. The employees were organized and timely with each challenge. They offered just enough guidance to the kids so that they could truly learn to work as a team to accomplish goals. The perfect adventure! Would love to go back again.”
