Kingston Design Remodeling

“We hired Kingston to remodel an upstairs bathroom that had developed a bad leak which was coming down into the living room. The job had a lot of complications. The space hadn't been updated in any way for about 20 years, & much of the plumbing had faulty hardware. Pipe had to be rerouted from one wall to the other to get all the fixtures onto the same wall. There was an annoying partial wall that served no purpose & made the room feel much smaller than it was. We wanted a full-sized bathtub in the space that the small standing shower was, but didn't know if the floor would hear the weight. The lighting fixtures didn't have proper grounding & the butter yellow & turquoise colors made the room feel like a leftover set from "The Brady Bunch". There was some wiring in the walls that connected to the living room, which we found out when Kingston was working in the bathroom & the living room lights went out. Moira, the director of operations, had an electrician on site within two hours to sort out the problem. If she couldn't immediately resolve an issue as it arose, she could tell me when it *would* be sorted out. The job wasn't complication-free. No remodeling project is. The Kingston difference is, we were kept informed by Austin (Kingston's owner) & Carlos (production manager) every step of the way. I don't remember the name of every specialist who worked in our home, but I do remember their professional, polite manners & respect for our home & our schedule. Before, we had an outdated bathroom that was cramped, not functional & frankly, a source of stress. After about 7 weeks, not including delivery time on our vanity, what we have in its place is a sleek, modern master bath with gleaming porcelain tile, gorgeous brushed nickel hardware, big glass doors, lovely granite-topped vanity & the perfect deep bathtub. We couldn't be happier with the bathroom & have recommended Kingston to family & friends.”
