  Venom Martial Arts is a very good self defense school. It has given me a lot of self confidence and everyone there is very nice. It is good for all ages also. I strongly recommend this class!

  Excellent school. A very unique fighting style. Street self defense. Very great atmosphere at this school. Works with all age groups. A must for the whole family

  Venom Martial Arts Academy is a fun yet disciplined training facility. The skill level and teaching ability of the instructors is beyond compare. I was nervous walking onto the mat the first time but quickly became confident in what I was learning. Joel, Christina, and the entire Venom crew are more like a family then staff and make you feel like one of their own the second you walk in.

  I am former U.S. Army Special Operations, A former Police Officer of nine years and currently a Special Agent for the government with the last eight plus years spent in war zones and high risk locations. I say that to say that I understand and have experienced training and that I know a good instructor when I see one. What sold me on Venom and mainly Joel, its founder and head instructor, had everything to do with Joel. If you cant pass on knowledge you are not a teacher. Joel is a teacher. I was also sold on venom itself because it is a real world method of combat. I learned things the first week that immediately improved my unarmed skill set. Lastly Joel and his family believe in what they are doing. They have a passion to share it with others and improve all of their student's ability to defend themselves as well as get in great shape. Throughout my career I have been exposed to a multitude of armed and unarmed fighting styles and methods. I'm here to tell you that Joel and his Venom program have replaced a lot of less applicable techniques I carried in my toolbox. When I am not travelling with work I meet Joel at not only his classes but he sets time aside for private lessons to help facilitate training with my schedule. My thanks and respect go out to Venom, Joel, and his wonderful Family.

  Amazing! This is real life training. Joel is a great instructor, he really knows how to incorporate all different levels of students in the class, there's a reason why he's a master instructor. Everyone in the class is very helpful and patient, they want to see everybody succeed. Not only is it great preparation for a real life situation, but a killer work out too. They offer a free week trial, but I was hooked after the first day.
