(November 13, 2018, 11:05 am)Enjoyed the trail but everyone had their dogs off leash. I had to stop and wait for these people to gather their dogs. My dog was on leash and I'm glad none of those dog ran straight up to us but one came close.

(May 12, 2018, 12:46 pm)It is ok park and trail. Except parking lot and trails There is no recreation area or playground at this park. Walked on Potomac heritage trail for a mile from parking lot and there is no view of full Potomac river I could get to only small divided water streams. After paved road, walking trail along the river is small and watch for snakes. I liked it for once and no motivation to go again unless you just want a walk in beautiful nature. The trees are amazingly tall and greenery is beautiful.
(May 11, 2018, 1:06 pm)My favorite place to go with my dogs. Back trails not used very often so you get lots of solitude. Also lots of tall mature maples and oaks. Beautiful in the spring when bluebells are in bloom.
