A good friend advised us that AAA offers it to their members free (1st ten signatures are included, then there is a charge after that). I had a few questions regarding if the NP could also serve as a "witness," and she answered my questions professionally and advised how the process is handled as she sees many different types of documents. “Got my Mother is pretty quickly with an appointment. They need to make it clear on documents they need. She just trying to get an ID because she no longer drives. We've been there twice and still didn't get it. Taking her isn't easy. She's in a wheelchair that I have to lift to put in my trunk. Also, be careful. Some people are not playing nice.”
