Physical therapy sessions for my shoulder injury have generally lasted about an hour. After a brief warmup on the hand bike, Ryne starts a customized series of soft-tissue stretches and exercises to help get my left shoulder back to full strength. The sessions never fail to leave me a little sore, but I’m always interested to see what new exercises or stretches will be incorporated into each session. The most recent session included trying out the body blade, an elastic fitness bar that challenged both my range of motion and my stabilizing muscles.
