  My son changed to Goddard during the pandemic last Aug at age 4 after attending a different day care since he was an infant. Goddard has been exceptional for our son and family. He has learned so much there. They do interesting learning activities with the kids that keep them engaged and have an app where you can see little videos of what they are doing throughout the day. The owners and all staff are caring, supportive and encouraging. I highly recommend this program/school.

  We've had our children enrolled at Goddard School for going on 3 years now and have been happy with the owners, staff, quality of care and curriculum. And most importantly our kids love the school because it promotes creativity, communication and happiness. I would highly recommend Matthews Goddard School to any family that is seeking high quality care for their little ones.

  This is our third year at Goddard Matthews and I can’t say enough good things! My son was well beyond prepared for Kindergarten from attending pre-K and my daughter’s skill set has taken off tremendously just from starting the 3s class.
  
  The owners/directors are wonderful with communication and the teachers are amazing with the children. The Goddard curriculum is hands on/play based which is essential to making learning fun. I would recommend to anyone looking for a childcare center for their family.

  We are incredibly happy at Goddard-Matthews! The directors and owners are so helpful, professional, prompt, and dedicated. We appreciate their transparency, and all their efforts to include parents in their child’s day. We are also grateful for their attention to using research-based teaching methods, and their efforts to work toward accreditation. The app that the school uses is updated frequently by her teacher, and she frequently sends multiple pictures and videos for my child each day! It also allows the parents to message the teacher, which I find very helpful, as we are unable to check in with our child’s teacher due to COVID-19 safety measures. Through the app, they also send weekly and daily plans for the child!
  
  Prior to COVID, they held fun events to participate in; however, it’s evident that they have so worked hard to continue that feeling of connectedness (i.e. coffee/bagels outside for parents, frequent emails to parents, voting day prizes, and socially distanced and limited Halloween games outdoors). In addition, despite the necessary safety measures, the school had scheduled zoom sessions with the teachers and parents to review their child’s progress.
  
  Our child’s teacher is amazing, and we are so grateful for her attention, thoughtfulness, and caring personality with our child. Our child loves attending Goddard, and we feel so relieved to send her to such an amazing school.

  It's where I can hear the word of God preached. Fellowship with other Christians. Has good music and a friendly environment.

  Being employed by the public school system, I get the opportunity to interact with students K-12 grade. it is always a great pleasure to have the ones that have attended The Goddard School in Matthews. They are so well prepared and mannered for what life is about to give them when they enter the public school system. They are polite, well disciplined, interact with their peers, and just a pleasure to speak whit. Hats off to the staff and owners at The Goddard School in Matthews.
