I bought a Trek SL5 Emonda recently. Everyone was fantastic, from meeting and chatting with Tim (hope your records and wheels are still spinning!) to having Erin answer all my nerdy, overly specific questions. The reception from when we walked in the door, to when we came back (multiple times so far) has been fantastic. I'm coming from a much older road bike (~35 year old Raleigh) with a larger crank (52t on the big cog) and wanted to keep a higher gearing ratio. Erin helped me get setup with an order for a 53t/39t gears. I know, I know, I bought a climber and why am I putting a higher gear ratio on it?! I'm a glutton for punishment I guess. I have been recommending Carytown bikes to anyone who will listen to me. These people want to put you on the right bike for you, not just sell you a bike. They are passionate about what they do and are willing to find creative solutions for any changes or customization you want to do.
