My boys started here at 4 and 8. I was surprised at how well our 4 yo did, and how much Master Kelly accommodated to his age. In 2 years they have developed so much. You earn belts and strips quickly in the beginning, which is rewarding as the parent as well as the child. But Master Kelly doesn’t just move them up because they show up, but bc they earn it, they practice and they make an age appropriate effort. Age appropriate being key! All ages are encouraged to make perfect practice. Perfect practice makes perfect! I’m very happy with my choice to enroll the boys here!

I have been taking 2 different classes with Master Bill Kelly for a few years now. The classes are challenging, informative, practical and a lot of fun as well. I highly recommend Shield Martial Arts for anyone of any age!
