As I began researching surgeons to repair my diastasis recti post-childbirth, I quickly placed Dr. Stanwix at the top of my list, even though that would require traveling across the country. His impressive education and experience are surpassed only by his kind and compassionate care. He and his staff took all the time I needed to discuss my surgical options and address all my questions and concerns. I knew my health and my body were in the best hands possible, and I can assure you that I would not have gone through with the procedure if I had not truly believed that. After my surgery (which included abdominoplasty, liposuction, and breast augmentation), my recovery went amazingly well. I was up and walking the same day, and had virtually no pain. I believe Dr. Stanwix's team and his anesthesiologist, a remarkable doctor in her own right, are to thank for that. My surgery was a fantastic success. I love my body. I love my shape. I love that I have been able to return to walking, running, exercising and that I can now exceed my prior fitness and strength goals. My body has successfully created, carried, and birthed two amazing children, and now my body looks and feels better than it ever has. Thank you, Dr. Stanwix!

Dr. Stanwix has been absolutely incredible! I was very nervous about my consultation for top surgery as a trans man, but he made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The surgery went perfectly, and he and his team made me feel very welcome and safe. He has been wonderful with the follow up as well. My results by far exceeded my expectations. I had several procedures done as part of a mommy makeover and Dr. Stanwix does not miss a single detail. Each separate procedure may as well have been the only thing being done because he is a complete perfectionist. My recovery was so easy. I know 3 ladies who had a tummy tuck around the same time frame as I had my procedures. 2 of them had complications, the one who did not also took my recommendation and used him. I know some things are outside of the surgeon's control, but I really believe in his methods and quick recovery protocol. I was back to walking for exercise in 10 days, back to work in 2 weeks, and back to tougher workouts at about month 5. His staff are also wonderful and I loved the medical team at the surgery center I was a patient at. He's simply the best in the business and worth traveling to.

Dr. Stanwix and his team were wonderful! After my surgery his nurses, Jenny and Amanda, were always super responsive and easy to reach with questions and even Dr. Stanwix returned my call immediately on a Friday night for the most ridiculous post op question of all time (sorry doc!). They were all great, the surgery center was beautiful and new, and I’m very happy with my results! Have already recommended him to friends.
