I love these people -their food is great and service is friendly. Good to see a roof over their heads; although I do miss al fresco dining from their truck on Staples Mill. This location will be a challenge -please support the business and recommend them to others. It is the only latino joint I know of that lists Brisket, Tongue, Tripe and Beef Cheeks on their menu and actually has them. Don't fear the Cheeks -comes out like slow cooked Short Rib. Enchiladas Rojas de Pollo are excellent and a generous portion. Order ahead for takeout (my order as a walk-in at 4pm was very slow) and make sure you check for Consomme with your Tacos Birrias. Great $4 Gordita and Happy Hour 3-6pm everyday with a good selection of $3 import bottles.

I love Mexican food! It is in my all-time I can eat it all the time things. But that doesn’t mean that it’s good everywhere you go. This place is spectacular!!! Friendly staff that is willing to explain what you don’t know, cozy environment with great music and it had that small shop BIG flavor type vibe. I am stuffed satisfied and happy!

Honestly, I’m trying to figure out where all the low reviews come from….but I disagree. I visit once a week-two weeks and I love the food and customer service. I’ve tried most of the meats and dishes, the food is well seasoned and portioned. The people who work their tend to be really nice and patient because I ask a lot of questions. I ❤️ El Chido.
