The delivery guys fell into a window in my hallway and broke it, but they called their manager to report it immediately. The manager then called me within the hour to resolve. They offered to have someone out to fix it asap, but I know how to fix old single panes, so I did it myself and submitted reimbursement for materials to save everyone some money. When I got the check, I saw they had topped off my request with a little extra for my trouble. I am blown away by the goodwill this company showed in resolving their mistake was second to none in a world where you have to fight to get anyone to own up and be decent. Seriously, I cannot remember the last time such a thing was handled with such speed and compassion.
