We recently went out of town & came home to the fridge & freezer not working. It seems it broke as soon as we left. “First thing you notice is the campus scenery, it is beautiful. There is a modern colonial vibe to the place. You can hear the road but it is far in the distance. There is an active rail line at the bottom of the hill. This would be a good place to leave the tech behind and unplug. There is no tv in the rooms and the twin beds feel like more of a camp. You can tell this place is close to perfect for a religious retreat. The nicest building is the chapel. The place needs some blackout curtains, renovating, and some more activity things to do. This is a low energy place. A running trail with markers could be a cheap upgrade. I came with a conference, but the place isn't built well for large groups that are not staying. Staff seems nice. The place is for non profit, individual, and government reservations. Plan to bring activities for yourself unless you want to vegitate meditate. The place needs some money and maintenance seems lacking. I was told there is a trail into the woods, but i already saw the movie and i know what happens.”

“My fiancee and I dropped in to look for champagne for our upcoming elopement. The guy working there said he'd been cleaned out but still had a bottle of champagne and some prosecco, and we bought the bottle of champagne. He was very friendly, reminded us not to leave the champagne in a hot vehicle. (It was very hot that day.) My only issue is my fiancee and I were wearing masks indoors (not only for safety and courtesy, but because of the governor's pandemic order--this is June 2020), and the guy there never put one on while we were in the store. I would certainly not expect him to sit there all day with one on, but if the customers are wearing them, you should put one on. We shouldn't have to ask.”
