Dr. Balka is very quick to respond to questions and very professional. My husband and I have been very happy with her care. Her office is very well run.

I initially came to doctor Balka i think around three years ago now. Maybe a bit more. I was going through some psychological stuff that I was rather embarrassed by. DR Balka made me feel right at home and comfortable, and walked me calmly through the process we would go through. She’s helped me with ADD, Anxiety and my Bi polar disorder. She always listens, never judges and it genuinely feels like she wants the best for you.
While I was initially scared by some of the diagnosis and felt like hiding away. I was able to read books about my conditions, realize so much of it made sense and that helped me learn to cope with things and understand myself and actions from a better place.
When I initially came to see Dr Balka I was in an extremely dark place with no ability to concentrate and focus on things, I had very poor impulse control, terrible mood swings and draining weeks of mania.
Don’t get me wrong I still have bad times, but Dr Balka provided me with the tools to understand why now. But for the first time in as long as I can remember I have a middle ground.
I know Doctors hear this all the time, but I genuinely believe Dr. Balka saved my life, I wouldn’t be here without her.
