Dr. Knudsen is the absolute best! She makes you feel like family or an old friend. So knowledgeable and personable! As long as she is practicing locally, I will never see another endocrinologist. The staff is 5 stars as well! It's 100% worth the drive for me and as someone who hates to drive and does not enjoy going to doctor appointments, I always feel empowered and confident when I leave the office.

Dr. Karen Knudsen is one of the best Doctor I ever had. I am 76 and had thyroid cancer a few years ago. She make sure my markers are good that I am on the right meds. While examining me we talk about so many other thing. I know it is to make me feel comfortable and I really do. I feel like she is my friend not my Doctor. Everyone I have dealt with in her office is the same. They smile and really talk to you all the time checking you in and out. I live in Elizabeth City North Carolina and Don’t mind driving to Williamsburg Va. to see her My Doctor Karen Knudsen. She feel like a friend all the while making sure I am on the right track with my health. As long as I can drive there she will always be my Doctor.

TPMG Colonial Endocrinology continues to be exceptional in customer service and physician provider services. Dr. Knudsen is at the top of her specialty and I welcome her holistic approach and work in concert with my other specialists to ensure the best therapies for my conditions. That is a tell-tell sign that she CARES! Her assistant is so skilled in preparing both the patient and the doctor before the visit which makes for a seamless visit. Everyone is informed very well upfront, no time is wasted and I feel my time is valued.

We left this office on cloud 9! Amazing to finally find a doctor who listens, was prepared for us by actually looking at previous labs and chart entrees. Everyone was so pleasant!!! It felt like everyone was giving us a virtual hug through their actions and kind words! Thank you Dr. Knudsen and staff. We look forward to continuing our endocrinology care with you.

As a new patient I was impressed with the entire practice. Receptionist, nurse and office manager all exuded warm efficiency and professionalism. Dr. Knudsen echoed those characteristics. She and her staff seem to enjoy what they do. Most important, I was pleased with her clinical thoroughness, her willingness to have a conversation, to offer varying treatment options, all while accommodating my questions or comments. I did not feel rushed. Very satisfied with the experience.
