  Loved our entire experience with Dunn from Scratch!! Helen is a GEM and her cake/cupcakes are all delicious! We had the best time from tasting to day of the wedding seeing the cake and cupcakes! She needed to make a change in design and was super communicative and offered up amazing suggestions and great quality product from start to finish. Thank you Helen we loved our wedding cake and cupcakes!!

  We hired Dunn from Scratch to make our wedding cake and are SO pleased with the results! When we sampled the following cakes: Chocolate cake with German chocolate buttercream, Lemon cake with mascarpone and strawberry fruit filling, Cardamom cake with espresso buttercream, Spice cake with cream cheese buttercream, and Mocha cake with espresso buttercream. It was very hard to pick which flavor we liked best because they all were so delicious and the cake was so moist and well-baked. We ultimately chose to have a 3-tiered cake, one flavor per tier! We had the Mocha cake with espresso buttercream, the Lemon cake with mascarpone and strawberry filling, and the spice cake with cream cheese buttercream. Helen listened to our wants and delivered perfectly! We wanted a very simple exterior so that the florals we added on would pop more. Not only did the cake perfectly match what we wanted it to LOOK like, but omg did it taste amazing on our wedding day! Everyone gave us compliments on the different flavors and we are so happy that we picked Dunn From Scratch.

  Her cakes, pies, and all sweet treats in between are delicious and beautiful. She’s professional and kind. I have enjoyed every interaction and will continue to enjoy her desserts!! The chocolate chip cookie dough cake and key lime pie are our favorites but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!!

  I’m so glad we were referred to Dunn from Scratch by our caterer for our wedding cake! We had a great tasting experience which we did remotely due to the pandemic, and the wedding cake itself was beautiful and delicious. After hearing about how many other brides often have leftover cake, our guests devoured ours! We got so many compliments and I only wish I’d ordered a little more so we had some left over.

  Received 2 pies for July 4 that came out great. I was a bit concerned buying from an individual at her home, thinking what if the cook is blind in one eye, lives with 10,000 pets or keeps a dirty home/kitchen? However, my concerns were immediately dismissed as there were no issues! These pies came from a clean (from the outside) well kept nice home in a nice neighborhood and from a young beautiful professional woman. The transaction was easy and professional and the added decoration she did, was not asked for, but much appreciated. They looked and tasted great. Will order again.
