This is one of the cosiest winerys in the area. We have been living in this region for three years now and have been visiting countless winerys in the area in this period of time. Unfortunately, we've just passed through Bleu Frog Vineyards while doing a weekend trip, always thinking about stopping for a glass of wine, a flight or a bottle of wine, but have never done so. What a pity. Today we made it and we experienced a wonderful cozy winery with live music on a Sunday afternoon, very delicious wines and good food. Not only the barn is cozy, the whole winery is very well maintained, very kids friendly with a lot of play grounds and all in all a wonderful spot for a day trip on a weekend. They just offer a limited wine selection but all seem to be from high quality and taste very delicious. There is just ONE issue I would like to mention and I would like to recommend the owner to change this...... The wine was served in a plastic cup. Only after recognizing that glasses were available and after asking for glasses, we got those. Glass or plastic is not only a question of taste, it's also a question of conservation of the environment.
The place is amazing, with beautifil greens and open spaces. I only liked 1 of the wines but that is just taste.
Lovely place, good wine, delicious slushies, live music, pavilion is great for small gatherings, another closed pavilion is under construction. The owners were very gracious. accommodating making sure things are in order for our event. Clean bathrooms, ample parking, plenty of shade, overall a nice place. They're not open everyday, check their website for hours
Looking for the most relaxed winery in Loudon? Look no further. Great wine, beautiful location, and was lucky to have phenomenal live music by Darryl Marini. Not too loud, great range of styles including 90's hits!
Very nice outdoor vineyard with occasional live music. Grounds are well kept and some huge trees with plenty of seating around, with grapevines all around. Kids and dogs allowed. There is a huge sandbox for kids to play in. Wines can be tasted by buying a glass with half pours. For instance if you want to try four wines you pay for two glasses with a half pour of each wine you want to try. The five dog wine was very interesting and worth a try! We liked the white otherwise not our style of reds. We did not try any of the wine slushies but many of the people there were drinking them. They seemed to be a hit. Beautiful pavilion on top of hill as you come in.
