(April 20, 2021, 1:13 pm)Fascinating in variety and a very fun place for all ages, if you are able to visit this FREE museum--only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM--I recommend you make it a family outing (don't forget your masks)! It is as clean and pretty inside as it is outside (see photo)!
(August 12, 2019, 8:31 am)Mathews is a very small county and Gwynn's Island is a small portion of the county, but we sure have an interesting museum! Met visiting cousins there and even though the 10 year old was dressed and ready for the pool, she and her 15 year old cousin were reluctant to leave. Something for all ages, nice all volunteer staff and a good variety of items for sale (books, tees, hats, ornaments, etc).
