“I was behind fire truck 9 at intersection of old courthouse and Warwick. The was a physically challenged gentleman trying to get across Warwick. The conscientious and kind fire personnel briefly blocked the intersection , one jumped out of the truck and assisted the gentleman safely across the street. I was moved by their kindness and generous spirit. It is refreshing to know that there are professionals who do their job not just out of obligation but with compassion and consideration. Other then taking calls for service (911 calls) they have a individual who professionally installs children & children with special needs car safety seats by appointment. These men and women also go out of their way to make a difference within the area that they serve, and have been witnessed in assisting individuals who happen to blow a tire in front of their house, by finishing another's yard work after a most tragic and fatal accident that befell the woman's son who was doing just that prior to someone running from the police in a stolen vehicle jumping the curb and killing him before he was able to finish. Great guys and gals”
