“Positive Update: There have been multiple calls from supervisors at JB Hunt this morning with apologies for the ultimate collapse in their system as previously described: no show; no call. They seem sincere in their efforts to identify the problem and to prevent its recurrence. My rug is due to be delivered tomorrow Tuesday, not Friday, which was the previous best offer. For this appropriate disaster recovery, I will change the rating from two stars to four. Very poor performance. JB Hunt is the company chosen by Ballard Designs to deliver a rug that I ordered. Hunt arranged a delivery time, Friday 12:30-4:30 pm. After rearranging my room to receive the rug and rearranging my schedule to receive the delivery, I waited. And waited. No phone call or notice from Hunt. After numerous calls to Hunt headquarters in Arkansas, at 9:00 pm I was told that the truck from the delivering facility in Norfolk VA had been stuck in traffic, unable to make my delivery and 4 others on the truck. The only remedy from JB Hunt was to schedule another delivery attempt for Friday, a week later, when they are in my area. By the way, the Norfolk facility for JB Hunt is 50 miles from my house -- a one-hour drive door-to-door. ”
