Windy Hill Orchards

I did like the matsu apples but went too late in year to pick apple. This orchard was pucked clean

Remote orchard with multiple varieties of apples, and summer fruit. Run by a friendly old couple with reasonable prices $10 a bushel of apples.
Fun to drive up to each row of trees or you can meander the hilly terrain.
Varieties are fairly well marked and you are provided with hand tools to collect the apples and baskets. Not much else to do besides pick, but they are delicious and fresh. Make sure you wash before eating, as tempting as it is to much right off a tree!
Dog friendly so bring fido to run along through the orchard on a leash.

We had an awesome experience at Windy Hill. The owners were very nice and the apples are delicious. Also had great prices on bushels. I would recommend them if you are looking for something to do outdoors with the family. We will definitely be back!

Jay is the man and his wife Debbe is the bomb! They are the nicest people. They gave us a great tour. Their orchard is 28 acres including 22 different types of apples and 14 different types of peaches. There apples, jams, and apple cider are the freshest top level quality products. They use fish oil instead of pesticides to keep away the bugs. You have the option to purchase the very reasonably priced apples by picking them off of the trees yourself or those that they've already picked.
