“A wonderful place to worship your faith with a community that takes care of those less fortunate in and around the Manassas area with a food pantry serving 30 to 40 families, a warm place to rest for the homeless on cold nights, and a giving tree during the holidays. If a person or family cannot pay a heating bill, no matter what is their faith, contact the parish office to see how they can help. If you are visiting for the holidays, mass times can be very crowded, arrive at least 20 minutes early.”

“I have 2 children that have attended Merit schoo of Prince William. One of them went pk4-2nd grade. Most of the staff is very loving and treat the children the same without bias or prejudice. My kids were always happy here and the school takes safety and academics seriously. Both my children excelled academically and have an impressive emotional intelligence. Just to give an example my 3 year old could identify 20 sight words before his 4th birthday. My 8 year old is advanced in math and reading. The campus is large but I do think they are outgrowing the space as more people look towards private entities for education, so I did take a star off for that. I wish it was on bigger campus complete with a library and possibly go to 8th grade. They do have a great collection of books in each class and visit the local libraries as well which is also nice. Also I wish the Spanish, science and social studies programs were expanded The principal, Mrs. George, is phenomenal and will work with you if there are any issues that arise and really values her families. We had a bully situation that was handled expeditiously Now that my oldest is no longer there it has been difficult to top. I have spoken to many parents from merit that have moved on and they echo my sentiments. We have all been spoiled by such incredible teachers and customer service.”

“Custom Design Tile is the best! From start to finish, they were professional, courteous and timely. Even during summer season when they are slammed, they got back to my calls or emails very quickly and they were honest up front with expectations on time. We lucked out, though, because they had a cancellation in their schedule and were able to fit us in earlier than anticipated, so that was icing on the cake. Even when we had a couple of miscommunications about some aspects (as can arise when doing a project), Brian, the owner, was amazing and went above and beyond to come up with a solution and ensure that we were happy. And, the team of skilled workers that came in to remove our old tile and install the new tile did a wonderful job. They worked hard and took care and precision to ensure we had a beautiful new foyer and kitchen floor. Price-wise we were also pleased. They estimated very close and so we had just 5 or 6 tiles left over, and a small bit of grout. The tile company they work with helped us tremendously with choosing the right tile to go in our kitchen (we are design-challenged, so this was so helpful). Overall, we highly recommend going with Custom Design Tile for your kitchen, bath, etc. remodeling projects. Check them out!!”

“Mary Black is knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. Having a bra fitted properly requires a fair amount of physical contact, and that can generate feelings of anxiety and embarrassment in the woman who is being fitted. Mary has a beautiful way of making a woman feel comfortable and safe during this process while also educating her about breast health. Every woman, young and old, in northern Virginia should see Mary for a custom fitted bra!!!!!”
