“I wanted to leave a review to explain a few things. To all the people complaining that their class was to hard, this is a school for ADULTS. This isnt highschool where the teachers will hold your hand and guide you through the class. You are expected to put forth the effort and LEARN SOMETHING. If the teacher just GAVE you the information, there would be no need for you to commit that to memory. So grow up and quit crying about how unfair life is. Secondly i have actually been to a couple other community colleges around the country and this by FAR was the best. My teachers were amazing and had no problems helping me with anything as long as i reached out to them first and showed that i wanted the information. Best thing you could do for yourself is to go to a community college and then transfer to a 4 year. NOVA also has REALLY good transfer programs between the public universities in Virginia and Elsewhere.”

“Manassas campus. I am an applicant not yet a student and will give my feedback as such. Majority of ADN programs in this area offer a traditional track - over 2 years in length, in addition to an over a year of pre-requisites. This program is an accelerated track meaning more material is covered in a shorter time in comparison with a traditional track; therefore, there should be an expectation of receiving and processing more information over a shorter time, a great majority of self-study, and daily homework. During a tour of the facility, I've observed a simulation/practical room covering the areas of study required to take an RN license exam. There is tutoring available, state of the art learning apps, and other helpful self-study tools.. From what it appears, this program is comparable to a community college's ADN program in the amount and in the kind of information, and the outcome depends on how determined and proactive a student is and on expectations - traditional track vs accelerated track.”
