The trail is unpaved. One needs to watch out for tree roots..The site has both Civil War Trails marker and is stop 5 on the Bristoe Campaign Trail. Highly recommended.”

“This is worth a visit. Small but informational. I find the exhibit of the man who shot himself into the grave he dug when he found out his beloved married another to be romantic. Morbidly romantic... staff is amazing”
