“I was in a jam today because I was expecting a microphone stand with the boom extension and wouldn't you know; it wasn't going arrive on time. So, I searched Facebook, the local stores and nothing. So, I decided to call the nearest pawn shops. Amazingly, I found one that had the microphone stand with a boom. That one was Centerville Gold and Pawn located off Centerville road in Manassas. I had called earlier and spoke Deni Martinez, partner and owner of Centerville Gold and Pawn - he said he had what I was looking for and at a fair price. Honestly, I was skeptical, but I took the trip to Manassas and I'm glad I did. Not only was Deni right, but it was exactly start I needed. Deni was so friendly and welcoming, I didn't want to leave the shop. Deni was so helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed I knew right then and there is be back. Now, the store is not your typical big sized pawnshop; however, they carry a large assortment of production equipment that is professional grade. I was very impressed that his clientele brought their equipment here. In addition, the items are reasonably priced and in most cases, like-new condition. I rarely give 5-star ratings so easily, but Deni Martinez exemplifies good customer service and genuine customer retention skills. Meaning, I'll be back. Please pay them a visit or check them out on the Facebook Marketplace.”

Her name is Julie Kim, I found her to be very well groomed, knowledgeable, professional, extremely helpful, and answered all my questions pertaining to the medication‘s. I noticed that she is always in “high gear” giving shots, answering phone, filling prescriptions consulting with customers and technicians all while wearing a beautiful smile! I cannot stress enough how amazingly easy and enjoyable my purchasing experience was at A-1. Not only does A-1 employ friendly and knowledgeable people, the owner, Colin, is an exceptionally customer-service oriented leader. Most importantly, he understands and appreciates his staff and customers. Due to circumstances beyond Colin's control, I was unable to purchase the mountain bike I wanted after driving four hours from Virginia Beach to Woodbridge. The traffic, as luck would have it, was a disaster. So, I arrived much later than anticipated. Rather than have to drive an additional six hours to and from Woodbridge, Colin met me in Richmond a few days later to personally deliver the bicycle. Not only did he save me an additional 1.5 hour of travel time each way, he also mounted the tires I purchased himself. Even more impressive was the fact that he delivered a second bike to another customer at the same location to save the gentleman the cost of shipping. Wow! Who does this kind of thing anymore... Colin does, that's who! In today's world when businesses are hyper-focused on profit, it is refreshing and commendable to meet a business owner who focuses his attention on what truly matters - the customers.
