Meriel Salon

Becky is wonderful! I've been on the search for a new stylist since moving here and was recommended to her by a friend. I appreciated the time spent with me on talking about styling and how I wanted my cut. I brought my 5 year old to her as well and Becky made her feel so special! The salon is beautiful as well - easy to get to and available parking.

I recently moved to Richmond and was in the market for a new hair salon/stylist until I found Meriel Salon. I booked an appointment for my boyfriend and myself and we absolutely loved it. Meriel herself was so kind and welcoming by offering us coffee and Rashanda was just a 10/10 all around with her skills - she did an excellent job with my boyfriend’s hair and mine. We also spent the entire time chatting and having funny conversations with Rashanda. We will be back for sure!

Meriel is an amazingly talented stylist and surrounds herself with equally wonderful folks. This recently renovated space has a very modern feel, yet it's so warm and welcoming at the same time. I would definitely suggest checking them out.

The vibe is always welcoming and friendly with a generous dose of humor and sometimes even a little dog therapy. Meriel can talk to anyone about anything. She’s up on current events as well as the latest trends, so she converses easily with all age ranges. Most importantly she’s well-versed in her craft and continually seeks out opportunities for education and conservation. The products she uses and recommends smell great, work great, and are environmentally friendly. The stylists who continue to gravitate towards this salon reflect all these values as well. I love this new location too! There’s so much to see through those big glass doors and windows. Great light, beautiful decor. So much to love ❤️

Jamie was amazing. After a few quarantine experiments went awry, I needed professional help, and that's exactly what I got. He's everything you could want in the role - personable and precise, with an amazing eye for what works with someone's aesthetic. I'll be coming back regularly!
