Banks W.Turner, MD

Dr. Banks Turner is a very knowledgeable and progressive physician. His bedside manner is the best along with his humor. I would not trust any other physician to be my PCP as he has proven to be the best. He is kind and he is patient.

Dr. Turner has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. He's incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. His specialist recommendations have been incredible. A few years ago I had an MRI on my back for sciatic nerve pain and he found a cyst that was blocking my spinal cord and recommended Dr. Simpson at Tuckahoe for emergency back surgery. By the time I was admitted, I couldn't walk. The surgery was successful and I'd be in bad shape it if weren't for Dr. Turner. I highly recommend his practice and trust him implicitly with my health care.

I’ve been going to Dr Turner since the mid 90’s. He has helped me through some of the worst times and illnesses I’ve had. He has always listened. He had a great sense of humor and I have recommended him to my friends. I don’t know the office staff as well as Dr Turner but no one of the office has been rude or distant to me. I would like to get to know the staff better but I know they are busy. The office staff are the ones who keep things organized and running as smoothly as they do.

Dr. Turner is an outstanding physician. I have high praise for him as he has taken both my husband and me through several very serious health problems. He is a skilled diagnostician and is kind when needing to address serious and sensitive matters. He listens carefully to patient symptoms and is quick to understand issues. I have had a great deal of exposure to medical professionals and he is number one in my book! I couldn't recommend him more highly.
