American Civil War Museum- Historic Tredegar

Address: 480 Tredegar St, Richmond, VA 23219, USA

Museum

“Great museum with a great amount of information. The museum was limiting the amount of people inside due to covid. I felt safe the entire time. They also validate your parking if you park next to the museum in their lot. The main exhibit is on the first floor and is presented chronologically. You walk through and get to experience what being a soldier on either side of the war was like. Very sobering and definitely worth the visit. They have a rotating exhibit upstairs. The current exhibit I didn't find to be too interesting but YMMV.”

“Myself along with a friend and her kids truly enjoyed playing on the playground. Before we knew it almost 2 hours passed in no time. It was an awesome experience. The park is a decent size for anyone that loves to walk. Also, there are 2 Full Basketball Courts! Great Time Here!”

Virginia Holocaust Museum

Address: 2000 E Cary St, Richmond, VA 23223, USA

Museum

“It’s FREE (As it should be) The spiral bound tour guide is well laid out and easy to follow. It doesn’t take an entire day to go through (~2hr) The Nuremberg trials room full scale replica at the end is simply stunning. Possible next upgrade: an app or audio guide version of the tour. The app would also be an easy giving portal.”

Maymont Farm

Address: 800 Swan Lake Dr, Richmond, VA 23220, USA

“Great place to go with children since they can walk and see the animals pet them and feed them. I was a little disappointed on the italian garden since the fountains weren't working. I guess it looks much better during spring/winter”

“I loved working with Tredegar Iron Works on May 4th, 2019 for Haley and Michael’s wedding! Their staff was incredibly professional and accommodating during the rush of the big day. My clients really loved the views on the property as well!”
