“Genuinely, each time I step into this school I feel like I'm surrounded by people who want to strive for the greatest achievements in life and apply for MIT or Stanford. The faculty and students here are absolutely phenomenal and want to learn new things, along with thinking outside of the education standard. The students are caring, logical, and most notably want to become lifelong learners. These are just a few of my first thoughts about this amazing school, and I have many more positive comment to announce. Specifically, the faculty at Rodney Thompson are what makes this school shine in learning. They're dedicated to their job and want to make sure each student is going to be a successful part of society. All the teachers are committed to their subject and strive to create more authentic ways to express the subject. Each teacher is enthusiastic about all the classes they teach and are devoted to every student. Teachers are an excellent way to show how open this school is about learning, but they aren't the only faculty members that make this school an amazing place to learn; the staff members that make sure this school is in optimal working condition are an essential part of this school. Each faculty member that keeps the school in a prime functioning condition is committed to being kind and ready to assist any student or teacher. They are dedicated to their job and continue to enhance the way students navigate to success. The students at Rodney Thompson are a phenomenal part of this community and continue to represent this school in a genuinely positive way. “Family environment, quality care, clean facility, personable clientele, small classes, security doors, good learning environment. I am a veteran that has three female children that attend this facility. Entered with 2 infants and 1 toddler; I was looking for a church based learning environment. My husband and I were hesitant about "anyone" caring for our children; we were quickly comforted by the care that was given to our 3 children. Surprise drop-ins were always welcomed and facilitated the assurance that our children were safe and being properly cared for. My husband was pleased with the care and that speaks volumes for a father who safeguards his daughters. The staff truly loves your children as if they were their own. Staff will adhere to any special instructions that you require. They are informative about my childs’ daily achievements, intuitive to their growing personality changes, dispositions, and functionality, & ailments. They respond to your calls and any concerns. Shiloh Christian Learning Ctr far exceeds the big name schools in cost. They're similar in cost to the majority of the local church governed facilities in Northern VA. I have encouraged a friend to entrust her son at the facility and she did. God has blessed these caregivers with the skills to nurture and guide your children. The Director, Mrs Quick, is extremely professional. Someone who is honest, caring, prayerful, respectful, knowledgeable, available, very informative, easy to talk to, and direct. My 3 girls are happy, loved, clean, learning and aren't ready to go home when it's time to leave. I enjoy knowing they are happy and safe. If they weren't; they wouldn't be there. The one thing that may cause issues for you may be the lack of communication when the facility is closed during inclement weather. They try to assist parents by not closing every time the schools close; however, there is no consistency. Though there is a letter posted to call the daycare for updates of closures; it is Not updated or not updated Early enough for parents that need to drop of their child when the daycare opens at 5:30 a.m. and you will arrive and the daycare will be closed, which will cause major issues if you are a working couple. Please ask questions as with any agency.”

They went on frequent field trips and the teachers were very vigilant with the children. They were also very accommodating to my situation and helped me through. I am very thankful they were there.”
