“Yesterday, my family buried my grandfather, Eldon Swartzentruber, who helped found Kempsville Volunteer Fire Department, Station 9, and served as Assistant Chief and Chief for 20 years. During the funeral procession along Providence Road, the firefighters at Station 10 stood at attention in front of their station in heavy rain, giving honor and respect to a man who for many years had served in the line of duty, bidding him to be at ease. “We have both our 20 month old and 3 year old sons at Hope. We love it, they are very reasonable in price, it’s clean and safe, and the teachers are amazing. Ms. Alicia is my 3 year olds teacher and I swear she has given him some amazing confidence and excitement about learning! I also give credit to her for helping him learn how to use the potty (I was amazed!). She is also just really sweet and really cares about my son! Ms. Nicole and Ms. Renee are also the sweetest Teachers which my 20 month old son has. He still cries Almost every morning that I drop him off because he’s still very attached to me But they are so so patient with him and they don’t make me feel bad or stressed about that. They have the biggest hearts! They all communicate with me throughout the day with the app we use and the videos and pictures are incredible little reassurances that the boys are doing fine. I trust them and they are just a true blessing. I highly recommend Hope!!”

Directors have been great in working with us when we switched between fulltime and part-time programs. The place has been brilliant accomodating her dietry needs as well. They have a great Fun Bus elective and plan to add another. Cameras are present to monitor how your kid is doing. The Brightwheel app helps connect promptly with teachers and directors. Our daughter feels loved. Highly recommend.”
