“I cannot speak highly enough about this school. It started with my son at age 3, who didn’t know many words and was attending speech therapy. I was nervous he wouldn’t make friends and would have trouble learning but Ms Jackie (head school teacher) was a breath of fresh air when we first met. She was so loving, patient and kind. She encouraged us not to worry, our son immediately felt comfortable and safe, and he begged to join the kids he saw. Within 6 months, his speech had improved leaps and bounds-without staying in therapy. He is now 6 1/2 and is still thriving at the extended day kindergarten program! He knows so many things about our earth, continents, animals and culture. He used to have no interest in coloring/painting/drawing/spelling/reading. He brings home his own made up stories now, written on his own. He is allowed to be creative, which promotes enjoyment in his work. To top it off, we now send our 4 year old and 2 1/2 year old to Sandpiper Montessori as well. Each of them couldn’t wait to join their brother at school because it’s such a fun and interactive place to be. When visiting the school, I am blown away at the peace inside each classroom. Children are calm, exploring different activities on their own accord-responsibly. I asked “how do I do this at home!?” lol. All of the teachers at Sandpiper are gracious, patient and kind to the children. It feels like family at this school and we’re blessed to be a part of it. Thank you Sandpiper Staff for loving on our kids and teaching them well.”

“This elementary school took care of me. It was the best elementary school anyone could ask for. The school was built upon the idea of a close-knit community. Wildcats live in packs. In my case this is true. I'm a freshman in high school and I'm still friends with people from Windsor Woods. The teachers and administrators knew how to connect with the students and keep the students interested in the material. Overall, elementary school will always hold a good place in my heart because of this school.”

“Our almost 3-year-old son has been at Bullfrogs and Butterflies for 6 months and his growth has been astounding. He is a naturally curious child and the teachers at the school have embraced and cultivated this trait. Through high-quality teaching and a strong STEM curriculum, the teachers encourage all students to explore their natural environment, which promotes the learning of new concepts. I have seen growth in my child's language abilities, science and math content knowledge, social skills, and independence in the short time he has been at Bullfrogs and Butterflies. Beyond the curriculum and teaching, the school is an incredibly warm and friendly place. The classrooms are full of engaging toys and activities, the entire school is very clean and cozy, and students are expected to treat staff, one another, and themselves with kidnness and respect. I have always felt welcomed and listened to as a parent. I can honestly say that it feels like a "home away from home" for my child, and that the staff make me feel as though we are partners in the raising and education of my son. I look forward to sending my other two young children to Bullfrogs and Butterflies when they are old enough. It is truly difficult to say enough positive things about this wonderful school!”

“I moved to VA beach 2 1/2 years ago, and Great Neck was the school I went to. 6th grade was great. There was ups and downs but all around it was fun and very educating. The teachers are strict, but they want the best for us. If you comply and listen then they will treat you with respect. 7th grade I was homeschooled. No fun. Stay in public school, kids. I am now going into 8th grade as of September 2017. I'm extremely excited. All in all... this school is amazing.”
