“Superb setup. Very large well maintained shelter with 2 bunks above main sleeping platform. Shelter has many pegs for hanging packs and solid ladders for accessing the lofted bunks. Strong piped spring a few hundred feet from the shelter is very easy to access and surrounded by stones, not mud. The separate covered cooking pavilion with picnic table and very nice fire pit with built in grill is great for keeping food out of the shelter. Bear hang pole was nicely placed and capable of supporting many food bags. There is all a horseshoe pit and even a spring fed shower at this shelter. The privy was a short walk away and was clean and well stocked. There are numerous spots for either tent or hammock hangs. All around a great shelter area in which I thoroughly enjoyed spending a night.”
