Meadows Original Frozen Custard

Have been multiple times and really enjoy the food and atmosphere. We bring friends and family. The menu is a bit tricky to understand, just ask. Check out their FB page to see flavor(s) of the day. Very cold inside, bring a sweater.

I could go here again and again and again. I have stopped at one in PA before and think their Custard is creamy and top notch. I go to a place called Whits in central Ohio or Strickland's in NE Ohio and I might place their Custard above both. It also hit the spot on a busy day being at Busch Gardens which may be why it tasted so good. I had no regrets after walking 15000 steps in 90 degree heat so that helped. They also had a great Wednesday special of a one topping sundae for $4 which made it even better. I have been craving their chocolate with peanut butter sauce each evening since eating here.

They have seats inside and outside. They have nice bathrooms as well. This shop is a definite stop after a hot day of walking around colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, or the water park.

I went to Meadows for the first time on my visit to Williamsburg. I was craving something sweet, so I looked at the options around this area near my hotel and saw some good reviews. Delicious. I got the Oreo Arctic. I ordered from the tablet so I added brownies, but I really wanted to add more Oreos. It definitely has your mom and Pop feel and attracts a good amount of customers. Highly recommend.

Yummy! I enjoyed the turtle sundae. The pecans made the sundae, a perfect blend of custard, hot fudge, carmel, and pecans. The strawberry gelato with vanilla custard was creamy, fruity, and refreshing, said my niece. My husband loved the strawberry shortcake. The dog loved his pup bowl. The ice cream cones were large. Everyone in our group enjoy their custard.
