“Our dining experience was exceptional in every aspect. Each dish was so delightful that not a single morsel was left on our plates. I highly recommend the fried catfish, cooked to perfection. My wife relished the chicken and waffles, while the kids savored their pancakes and eggs. With numerous pancake houses around, Southern Pancake & Waffle House sets an incredibly high bar for its competitors. They will certainly face a tough challenge in matching the quality and flavor offered here.”

“I could go here again and again and again. I have stopped at one in PA before and think their Custard is creamy and top notch. I go to a place called Whits in central Ohio or Strickland's in NE Ohio and I might place their Custard above both. It also hit the spot on a busy day being at Busch Gardens which may be why it tasted so good. I had no regrets after walking 15000 steps in 90 degree heat so that helped. They also had a great Wednesday special of a one topping sundae for $4 which made it even better. I have been craving their chocolate with peanut butter sauce each evening since eating here. They have seats inside and outside. They have nice bathrooms as well. This shop is a definite stop after a hot day of walking around colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, or the water park.”

“Initially we had to cancel our registration due to Covid but they held our deposit and applied it without question to our stay last week. The house is not historic but was lovely and the guests are trusted with use of the entire first floor: several sitting rooms, the dining area, kitchen and a basement large screen TV area. We stayed two nights. Breakfast was served buffet style with one dining table. Everything was delicious and the grits on day two were excellent! Located near the campus of William and Mary University, it was a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg.”

“I cannot say enough kind and amazing words for this shop. The individual attention she gives each dancer and her amazing knowledge of each shoe and foot is absolutely incredible. I will never take my daughter anywhere else for pointe shoes.”

“DON'T TAKE YOUR STUFF TO GOODWILL, BRING IT HERE! The salvation Army is a true charity, all of their goods are donated, focusing on supporting the local community without making a profit. There are donation bins right inside the front door, and a shopping cart to bring out to your car. If you need to carry stuff in. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, there's a food pantry just inside, and it's everything you would expect from something to support a community like this.”

“Tiny shop and chapel. You can buy garden statuary, flowers, bunnies or ducks. They also sell a wide assortment of spiritual and inspirational books by contemporary authors. Behind the shop you can have a spiritual break in the houses own chapel. It's very small but also inspirational.”
