After several years of discussions and consideration, my wife and I decided to have a gas fireplace installed in our Williamsburg home. We researched fireplace retailers and installers across most of Virginia and after wonderful interactions with Barry (the owner of HEA), we decided to engage. Our choice was a wonderful decision!

Barry and Master Plumber Mike Smith installed our fireplace professionally, carefully, skillfully, and beautifully. While I completed the drywall, fireplace surround, fine trim, and custom mantle that my wife designed, the true artwork was provided by HEA.

We had 3 vent free gas fireplaces installed by HEA. We have an older colonial home and wanted to change over to gas in the fireplaces. We met Barry and he gave the different options and answered all questions. Once we made up our mind on the fireplaces, he had his plumber come and scope out what was necessary to put gas lines in for the fireplaces. Several months earlier, we had a plumber tell us that they would have to drill through the floor and have an exposed gas line that would have to have a cosmetic solution --- once Barry's plumber (Mike) assessed the situation, he was able to drill through the brick and concrete without having an exposed pipe (it took 3 hours to drill one of the holes, but he stuck to it). Turned out beautifully, didn't have to have any exposed pipes. The fireplace installation went flawlessly (Cole). Barry came out and checked on everything to make sure that it was done to his and our satisfaction.
