The cake was delicious! I was only surprised to find out it was an at home business and not a store front. That doesn’t bother me at all but others may want to know to expect that. Also having a sign outside would help to find the house easier. I have an at home business as well so I go through this with customers too. Overall I recommend her cakes :)”

“I wanted to surprise my brother this year with a custom cake that he and anyone with nut allergies (myself included for most nuts) could enjoy equally, but I needed this cake to be 100% vegan as well. Luckily I found Rosa Bakes just in time on the HappyCow app, and her local bakery business stood out by being 100% vegan for the animals (which is truly a rarity in the NoVA area) The entire process from initially ordering the cake to picking it up was within the span of five days fortunately. Rosa did a spectacular job making this decadent vegan chocolate cake that was soy, gluten, and nut free! For an "everything-free" type of cake, the flavor was appropriately sweet with a deep, rich taste to every part of the custom cake. Nobody that tried the cake could even tell that this was an allergen/animal product-free cake (since it was so delicious and everybody could eat some). “Very small bakery inside Hmart, but the owner is so sweet and friendly. I was told by the owner that you can order your cake a day before the event! Not many places will do that, so I know I will definitely remember this :) I love their sweet potato cake! It's not very sweet yet sweet enough to want another bite of it. My sister and mom loved the bomboloni, said it was the best thing they've eaten our week long trip. They were tempted to go back late to see if the apple pie bomboloni was out yet, but we never made it back. We're picky when it comes to baked goods but we'd probably order more than half the items display, everything looked amazing! A few tables outside, standing room only inside while waiting in line.”
