“Wal-Mart is always somewhere you need it to be. There is always something that I need at the spur of the moment and I can almost always get it at Wal-Mart. This particular Wal-Mart is the one that I used to find myself in at 2:00 in the morning sometimes. That was before Covid. Not just me though but I would post about it on Facebook and my sister would say " wow bro. I find myself there at those times also". Well, it's a family affair at Wal-Mart! One thing I did want to share pics of and that all of Wal-Mart employees shopping for customers. Many are online shopping these days and that's one challenge that Wal-Mart is meeting. The one thing I don't really care for is the self checkouts. I don't work there and especially don't want to if I'm not getting paid. There's a lost opportunity in customer service there!”

“I stop there often for my meds. I like it’s not a giant store. I also like they are always stocked. Although it’s smaller than the Supercenter I always find what I’m looking for. I like to see employees with a good attitude and available to help where in the Super Center I hardly see any. Prices same as everyone. The only break you get is when you buy their brand. I used to not buy them but now that I can’t afford much I buy their brand. They are good products for a quarter of the prices of other brands. I couldn’t believed my eyes when I noticed a box of cereal for $10.”

“Today was my first time visiting this Walmart neighborhood market. I had to pick up a prescription today today because my normal neighborhood Walmart location did not have the prescription that I normally get for my son. I came all the way from Norfolk Virginia Little Creek to Holland road today, and I'm glad I did. The staff at the pharmacy was excellent. Jeremy the pharmacist did an exceptional job in making sure I had prescription for my son. I need to his prescription this week because I was going out of town, and I wanted my son to have his medication after spring break. Jeremy made that happen. I spoke to a young lady earlier this week, I did not get her name but she was also a big help to me and making sure my son got his medicine. Thanks to the pharmacy staff at this Walmart neighborhood Mart. If I was to ever need you again you will be the first pharmacy I will come too. Keep continuing to do your best at what you do!!!”

“Five stars for their prices. They really are discounted. I didn’t buy anything the day I stopped by recently, since I was short on time that day and had to be somewhere else. I arrived right after they opened and the store was neat and tidy. This store is a further from my house, I have a Ross closer. Same as others, if I see a Ross I try to stop in no matter what the location. This store has a lot of shoes, it seems more than at other Ross stores. If you like a good bargain, I recommend checking out Ross. They have name brands and low prices.”

“I love shopping here. They always keep the product stocked fully, even though there’s a lot of traffic and people that come through there. They’re always putting out new clothes and items. The staff is pretty friendly here. They’re a little weird about the purses when I bought two, I felt as if they thought I was going to steal them or something by how they acted. Also, I noticed anything that I buy that has like a compartment or zipper is always checked for things in the inside of it. I’m sure they’re like that with everybody but it just makes me feel kind of a negative way, considering how often I’m in and how much money I spend here. I do would do wish they would more carry larger sizes then they do. Everything is small, medium, some large in hardly any extra large. I don’t know if the larger sizes sell out first or they just don’t carry them. It’s harder for me to find larger sizes beneath plus size like large or extra large. Overall, I love coming here , and will continue to do so often especially for holiday decor, like fall, when they have a fantastic selection of household decorations.”

I had been to another store and was trying to avoid having to travel to another store. I asked Kevin to check for me if the other store had it. Sometimes all your stuff is right, sometimes you'll have a missing item or a few or a egg carton with one missing and no one told you they broke one and it's a 5 out of 10 chance the eggs you're using may have been rolled on the floor or in a nasty grocery cart. I like martinsville but over I'm just saying please protect people's purchases and tell them if something happens with the order.”

“Experience was... Ok. Didn't have any interaction with the associates. This store doesn't carry everything like other stores do. It's sort of a corner store market. But for the most part the essentials are there. I was in and out pretty quickly. Not many people when I visited. So that was a relief. I've seen when this store has been overwhelmed with customers. Not a pretty site for a store that is terribly small. So basically the experience wasn't bad at all. I would visit again for quick shopping though.”

“So where do I begin ? From going to a lot of places and traveling and shopping at many Walmarts. This by far has to be the best I’ve even been to. The faculty are just so nice and attentive I believe the manager Jeffery is excellent and on point. I’ve seen him work with other employees and watched the leadership as a manager he’s carried to reflect on the entire store and I like that in a day of corporate American shopping everyone in this Walmart was on the same agenda. Shelf’s we’re stocked information was given quickly and questions were answered. I really look forwarded to shopping here I strongly think me being a customer that Jeffrey and the entire staff at this Walmart are hard working people and deserve a-lot of recognition by corporate or regional directors of Walmart”
