The guys arrived 10 minutes early, with all the supplies needed, motivated, and ready to work! They even came in on a holiday to help get our move done when other companies failed. Fantastic communication with the scheduler and the move leader. I was very impressed with our movers Vincent and Jamel. They were extremely professional, great attention to detail, and were prepared with high quality move equipment. They called when they were on the way and went above and beyond apply door protection and installed ramps. They were able to move our 39 year old piano without a scratch! Honestly probably the most professional movers I've worked with. Incredible service overall and I highly recommend these guys. I will be personally requesting them again for our next move. Thanks!”

“Cobb’s Marina is run by people that will go out of their way to help you! We have been using Cobbs for decades. I can’t say enough about how amazing they are to work with. I have never had anything happen when working with them that left a bad taste in my mouth. They will bend over backwards to help. On a Sunday afternoon at closing, I ran up to get a bag of ice. We had an unexpected issue going on with a rudder installation on our sailboat that’s been on the hard there for 7 months. Mike Cobb happened to be standing out front. He asked what was going on. He knew our situation. We were slung and getting ready to splash the following morning. Mike asked if he should come over to help, I responded, “please”!!! He was about to take his son fishing, instead he walked over to our boat, assessed our current situation, went back to his shop, fabricated a tool that might help our predicament, came back and proceeds help us with our issue. It was now 430 on a HOT Sunday. 30 minutes past when he and his boy should have been on their way to some fishing hole. They are all amazing. This is one of the few remaining, family owned boat yard/marinas left in the area. We always have and always will haul out there. Thank you Cobbs!!!”

“Truckers Don’t go by the previous reviews on a place! Let me tell you this place is a great place to pick up . I arrived here at night and was able to park outside of the gate to wait until the morning. They opened the doors at 7 am came in . And from the security to the gentleman at the office they are so nice and respectful. They told me wich door to back up and i was leaving out the door at 7:30 am. Wow. What more can you ask for. This place is special, great facilities and services in front of the beautiful Chickahominy river with easy access to the James and Chesapeake but not crowded like other rivers and lakes in VA. Awesome restaurant with outdoor seating in front of the docks with even better staff! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. We took our boat out for the first time and Calvert (owner) was actually waiting for us and helped us dock and secure the lines when we got back. After a few times here, it hits you. This is how it is all the time, they treat you like family and is clear they put a lot love and hard work into this awesome place. Our family is so happy we found this gem. I wish I could give them more stars!”
