“This place, a mixture of old and new, is divided between 2 buildings in the same shopping center. Both are worth going into, although I preferred the building with the old gas pumps outside. My understanding is that antique stores are having a hard go of it and like many places nowadays has bottled jams, peanuts, fudge, new crafts, reproductions , new jewelry and clothing mixed in. Neither place is heavy on real antiques or even used items, but I found some unique and cheap Halloween items that were only $1.50 and $3. The other building had a Halloween room filled with wonderful unusual Halloween items, some gigantic although this section was more expensive. Since I made a purchase I was happy. Employees were also very nice and helpful. The Williamsburg area has a reputation for being overpriced but this place was not.”

“Dwayne, Kelley, and the entire team are outstanding in every way, and I highly recommend them! I used JD Edwards for both the interior and exterior painting of my 7,000 sq ft home; it is 32 years old and had many challenges: INTERIOR--old ceiling stains from bathroom plumbing and roof leaks; drywall damage and large holes; high ceilings and windows requiring scaffolds; nail pops and visible ceiling tapes; lots of heavy furniture to move for access. EXTERIOR-- very high access; lots of mature landscaping; obvious and unseen wood rot in high sections and backyard concrete stairs. Dwayne and his teams provided punctual, professional, courteous and respectful service; they were careful and conscientious about handling our personal items and furnishings, and used drop cloths and plastic sheeting. The experienced team showed exceptional attention to detail, excellent carpentry skills for wood rot repair/replacement, they took pride in their work, and they were meticulous. Their final clean-up was superb, too. They cleaned my windows, inside and out, as well as ceiling fans that had been covered with dust from ceiling tape removal and repainting. Their estimate was a tad higher than 3 other estimates, but the 2 coats of Sherwin Williams "Duration" paint, the 1 year guarantee, a long history of 5 star reviews from other very satisfied local customers, and the comparable costs for the trim package were worth it. I felt very safe among the crews, and trusted them--and that is priceless! Dwayne will negotiate. And the final result was a wondrous house make-over--I have a beautifully transformed HOME, inside and out. I would not hesitate to call them again for any future needs and I rave about them to everyone I know.”

“We recently purchased a home that has a reverse osmosis system in it. That system was installed by WaterPro by the previous owner. We called to get a free water inspection and to learn how to take care of the system. Jacob was so kind, patient, professional, knowledgeable and informative. He had a great demeanor. He made sure all our questions were answered and explained the system to my husband. He showed him the filters in the crawl space. “Great tennis club! I’m visiting for business from out of town and reached out to them via email letting them know I wanted to get in as much tennis as I could while here (for 4 days). Carolyn the manager got back to me right away and scheduled singles and doubles matches for me every day I was here as well as getting me in to a clinic one night. Wayne led the clinic and was outstanding! I’m used to hitting some balls at clinics and getting zero instruction. Wayne kept us moving the whole time and provided very valuable individual instruction while playing.”

“Good news: your search for amazing cakes and baked goods is over. This is the BEST bakery in town! I discovered them a few years ago when I was looking for a Matcha Green Tea cake for my birthday. I have not bought a cake anywhere else since (it's been 4 years). This year, not only did they make my birthday cake, but also our wedding cake! It was delicious, the guests loved it so much, most of it was gone by the time I got to it! And the fondant. I am of the opinion fondant is the worst edible substance known to man, so I was nervous about it with the wedding cake. I didn't need to pick it off! While it was still fondant-y it was the best application of fondant I've ever known and could eat! Their cakes don't just taste good, they look good too! I'm not too picky when it comes to decoration, but we have always gotten a beautiful cake. The people at Williams are also the sweetest (just like what they bake)! Last year I ordered my birthday cake a little late, but they still found the time for it - I just had to pick it up a few days early. When I went to pick up my cake they gave me a slice of strawberry shortcake to make up for the timing. They were great to work with when picking out flavors for the wedding, and going over decorations. They even delivered the cake in the rain! A few months later they remembered us when my husband went to order my birthday cake. But if you're not into cakes, don't worry! Everything they have is amazing! I got a sweet potato tart for my husband once, and it was decadent, but so light and fluffy! Make sure you go in about a week ahead of time to make a special order and pick up some other treats while you're there! You don't need to look anywhere else for the perfect cake.”
