“Very interesting tour of a historical landmark. The tour guide was great, and she did a wonderful job answering questions. Very interesting story behind this historical home. We were able to walk the grounds and see several other historical out buildings and the garden. Glad we stopped in.”

“We loved our stay at POF! Our family summer trips had to be canceled due to COVID, and as luck would have it POF had a last minute cancellation due to the same thing. My kids just wanted to swim in a pool all summer and that is exactly what they got and more! The house provides everything you need and if it doesn't the POF team is there to help (even the owners!). We loved the river views, the fully stocked kitchen, liens and towels provided, and touches for the kids. There is plenty to do in rain or shine. We took advantage of the game room and theater room during the cool mornings and at night. The pool, with its ample toys and stocked pool house, is where we went during the day. We even took a little canoe trip on the Potomac using the boat and PFD provided. We couldn't find the "beach", but we still had fun. We stayed to the house most days due to virtual school and safety, but the house is located in a great area for wine and beer loves a like. We hope to return and explore those options in different times.”

“My seven year old daughter started riding English style at Zephyr's Way Stable in Spring 2015. She did the half day camp over the summer and has been taking hour long weekly lessons ever since (It's now Feb 2016). The barn itself has an indoor arena and an outdoor ring. The barn is well kept and clean. We have ridden several beginner horses and they have all been very good. Her instructor, Brenna Smith, is simply outstanding. On two occasions we had substitute teachers and they were both excellent as well. Scheduling lessons through Caitlin is super easy. We have met so many wonderful people at the stable. It's just been an all around fantastic experience!”

“I have never seen such a nice trail of picnic tables at a Rest area before. All concrete walkways that lead you up away from the restrooms and information center. Every picnic table has its own concrete pad, and they are covered by trees and some have a solid structure over then. It was spotless, and this is on a Saturday afternoon. I am very impressed because of how simple and cozy it is. It’s just a perfect little rest area coming into Virginia traveling up I-77 North. I apologize for the one photo. My phone was in the car and my 4 year old was ready to get on the road lol.”

“We stayed at the Atrium during Thanksgiving week. We found the staff extremely attentive, not only at the Atrium, but also at its 2 sister resorts, where we used the pool and other facilities. Kudos to Joanna at Ocean Key, who went out of her way to make our stay special! We highly recommend VSA. We loved Virginia Beach this time of year, without the crowds and still with decent weather.”

There were just enough activities to keep here and the other children informed and entertained. The whole crew was incredibly personable and accommodating. “What an amazing trip! Captain Robert and his wife were amazing and accommodating to our family. We booked last minute and Captain Robert made it work. We are in town visiting and our kids agree, the sunset sail was one of their favorite things they did this week! The Freedom is amazingly well kept and clean! We were able to help with the sales and our son got to steer it which he will always remember! We saw many naval ships as well as some dolphins. HIGHLY RECOMMEND a sailing with Captain Roberts! Thanks again for a great evening!”
