Had some time to kill before catching a flight so decided to check out the refuge. Went for a nice long walk and saw a lot of different wildlife. They were working on a new building and parking lot while I was there that looks like it will be very nice once finished. If you enjoy nature and walks I recommend this place.
Always a great place to wander & explore. Spotting hawks and swans from the Carty Lake side. The winter light providing good shadows and sky views for photos.
Fun family walk. The Pole house was really fun to see and learn about. So much wildlife in such a beautiful setting.
Gorgeous nature in crisp weather is phenomenal. As a wheelchair user, I was able to get to the 400 year old Oak on paved/pea gravel paths... very thankful for this paths!!
There are no pets allowed here.
Right now this place is free to use. It has a lot of trails pick from. All the ones my family and I have pick so far have been easy for all of us to use including my 5 year old. This place is Breathtaking The scenery is so beautiful. My hole family loves this place.
Sometimes when you came here you can get lucky and see the animals. You can almost always hear the animals if you are quite.
It is easy to do a lot of exercise here and not know it. I recommend this place to every one.
