“We visited 3 rehabilitation centers to locate the one that would be best for our Father. He is now a double amputee and is in need of a rehabilitation center to get him ready to live life. We showed up unannounced on a Saturday and they were more than happy to show us around. Even before we entered they had a full hand sanitizer outside the door! It smelled fresh and was inviting once inside. We got to chat with at least 4 of the residents who were laughing and out in the halls and in the sitting areas. Unlike the other facilities we visited where everyone was in bed and everyone was quiet. They all reported being happy there, satisfied with the food, and comfortable knowing that if they rang the bell someone would respond to their needs. They all said they would bring their own Mothers there. We also spoke to 4 employees and all of them reported being happy to work there. They were all down to earth, easy to talk to. They immediately made us feel welcome. One said we are an older place but we do everything we can to make it the best we can. We witnessed a few chatty happy moments with the staff and residents. One was a resident giving the Physical Therapist a high five as he rolled by. It is an older facility but was very clean. It smelled fresh and not chemically clean. Freedom is important to Gpa and they said off site trips are encouraged through PT. The other facilities were strictly no leaving whatsoever. Discovery agrees with the heart, soul and body healing process. Gpas garden visits to his home to check on his koi and pigeons are important to his healing process. We have definetly made the decision to use Discovery at this time. He will be entering the facility early next week and I will update this reveiw as his visit unfolds. For now.... 5 stars!”

The only bad thing I can see about this school is that it provides no challenge program, so children that are advanced at reading or math cannot get the challenges that they need. The teachers try to help with this, but it would be better to have a challenge program.”
